Manchester United want to appoint sacked RB Leipzig manager, Jesse Marsch.
Newly appointed interim boss, Ralf Rangnick wants Marsch in a coaching role at Old Trafford, according to The Times.
Marsch was appointed as a replacement for Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig but managed to pick up just five wins in 14 league games.
He was sacked on Sunday after just four months in charge and with the side sat in 11th place in the table..
Rangnick has known Marsch since 2015 is ready to offer him a place in the United backroom team.
After bringing in Chris Armas and Sascha Lense Rangnick still wants at least one more coach and Marsch would be far cheaper and easier to bring in.
Rangnick first employed Marsch at the New York Red Bulls six years ago, the German gaffer also took the American to Leipzig to act as his assistant.
