The former acting chairman of EFCC Economic and Financial Crimes Commision “Magu” who was suspended has been released from the police custody just 10 days after detention.
Many national daily news reporters has reported that “Magu” was released today Wednesday July 15, 2020.
Recall that the embattled former EFCC chairman was arrested just last week on Monday and has been detained, held by the police since then.
He has been appearing before a presidential panel investigating allegations of corruption and insubordination leveled against him by Abubakar Malami, Nigeria’s justice minister.
Reports also had it that Magu was probed over 380 houses, 7 crude oil-laden ships, N37billion assets.
